Supported Housing

Our supported housing is for single women of all ages, who are fleeing domestic and/or sexual abuse.  Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children.

Our properties consist of

  • 2 shared houses for women of all ages

  • A shared house specifically for women aged 45+ (the first of its kind in the UK)

  • Disabled facilities in one of the houses

  • A shared house for women with more complex mental health needs

All the women in our houses will work closely with their Support Worker to help them through this traumatic period of their lives. We pride ourselves on making these houses have a “home from home” feel, to make women feel as comfortable as possible.

All women are assigned their own keyworker who will carry out an Individual Risk Assessment and safety plans, which are updated on a regular basis. The keyworker will also empower women to achieve their own individual personal goals.  They will also receive support with

  • Budgeting

  • Cooking

  • Household tasks

  • Benefit applications

  • GP registration

  • Legal appointments and court support if necessary

  • Assistance with applying for housing and grants (when the woman is ready to move on)

Part of our license agreement is for the women to attend and engage in the Freedom Programme and our unique accredited EVA-Lution programme developed to increase self-esteem and confidence.

Women also have the option to join one of our many social groups:

  • Arts and crafts – for more information see Support Group

  • Fitness activities for all levels of fitness – for more information see Fitness and Wellbeing
